I just want to start a thread to find out how many of you would be interested in an ARK exhaust system for the 4G? I had the ARK on a G 37 before and it sounded Great. Check it out. If you guys n gals like it. I am trying to get ARK to build one for the TL but need some support. Let me know your feedback.. Will try to upload a sound clip.

 

i would like this.. get them to fab up a burnt tip 3.5 inch dual exhaust tips.. if it cost less than 1400, i would be interested in trading my atlp one for ark

 

I like dual tips per side over single. Also initially when I was deciding what exhuast I wanted I considered getting one with titanium burnt tips but now think it might look ricey.

 

ark is in chino, ca which is 10 mins from my work.. its tempting to approach them.. but all i see are hyundais, kia's and nissans getting worked on at their website..

 

I contacted them and they reached out to me. They told me they would to the RR on it, but if we have enough tags on their page including their FB page, it should push the research to actually producing a TL line. With the Quad Burned/Polish Tip (might I Add)

 

Hey Potz i see the Progress on your TL and love it. So if we can get the word out i can make a petition to them, to produce the line

 

I'd be interested, what exactly do you need from the community?

 

from what i know, if a company dont have 8 committed buyers, they wont make it.. so you gotta find 8+

Here is the latest from the ARK company.

C, as a company and manufacturing exhaust systems we invest a lot of money into new jigs and molds. Just to give you an idea for one car application we would need to sell 100 or more exhaust systems before we start making profit as a company. Believe me I would love to develop and see every car with an ARK exhaust system, however as a business it is very difficult to do this without losing money. I appreciate that you and other TL owners would like to have an ARK exhaust , it is truly awesome and such a blessing to see car enthusiasts demanding our products for his/her car. So I will need to do some more research for the 09-11 Acura TL's and I will let you know.

 

So the Bottom line is, if we can get the word out and enough people wanting it. I will let them know and follow this thread as some proof, of the amount of TL owners that are interested. So I need all the help we can get

Very few 4G TL owners are interested in modding their cars, when compared to the 2G/3G owners.

Even for 2G/3G TL's, it'll be difficult to gather as many as 100 members for an exhaust system group buy, let alone for the 4G TL.

 

Well it is worth the try. To see how many we can gather. And it does not have to be titanium tip

Don't waste your time.....if,they want 100 systems lined up for sale before they even start R&D..forget it and buy a system that is already on the market like ATLP or RV6..

Hell we cant even get 10 together to get another round of the ATLP, which is the best available for our car
