Hello, 4g virgin here....lol


I am looking to do some light work on adding a few mods. Nothing crazy. Treat me as if i am baby and a blonde.

Q: i never seen anyone paint the 4g beak mayan bronze metallic. should i do the entire grille or just the inner part.
(think it will look good painted with mayan bronze?)

second, i looking to add a takeda intake, and a jpipe.

anyone have the links for the site you gents are using to buy them? any other mod/combo i need to add with a jpipe and intake?

Q: i want to change y fog lights.. i am not sure what color would like sexiest with my mayan bronze mettalic color tl4g. i thinking hid yellow or try and match my headlights?? does anyone have any suggestions for me or link that i may look at?

Beautiful color there! You defintely want to paint the whole grille.

 

I'm partial to yellow fogs. Got mine from Hoen.

 

Yea had the car for 5 days and i got so many compliments already.

Takeda intake will only slightly increase MPG if you're light footed and performance increases are minimal if any.

Verdict: wait for CT ice box (who knows when they'll release it but at least it does provide 14whp).

Color maching the grill would go nicely and maybe clearing your headlights while your at it?

 

There are a couple MBMs on here that have already done this. I plan on putting mine on this weekend, and I'll post pics as well.

Also looking into tinting my front window to match the other 5. Alsotrying to find a competent shop to tint my taillights all red.

Funny story in regards to de badging... When I went to Honda meet in VA I parked my car in a closed office building parking lot since I couldn't find parking (I do this in NY all the time). An hour later after having diner in a restaurant I felt I should check on my car before continuing to tour main st... To my surprise there was a dude with a tow trunk trying to see inside my tinted windows. When I told him "don't tow me, I'll move it" he said he admired my car and wanted to figure out what it was before he towed it...lol


De badging slows down towing process! And apparently you can't park in empty lots after hours in VA...

Thank you , my theme for the car is "angry/mean bitch" lol... I want as much red/black as possible without making it riced out (such as red calipers, made those black btw).

I'm currently stock height as I still need to pay for ice box/PCD's/J pipe/ custom exhaust + install and coilovers w/ EDC are very expensive; besides that I'd only lower my car if I were frequently taking it to a track.

I'll take some more rear and front shots but iphone camera doesn't do the car justice :\
