Question 4" Exhaust Tips

My exhaust guy and I looked at some tips to go with the new mufflers he is putting on my car next weekend. After looking at dual 3.5" tips and dual 4" tips, I am actually leaning more toward the 4" tips.

He is going to stagger the tips so they fight nicely within the 4G bumper scheme, and the 4-inchers of course fill in the space more completely. However, I'm debating whether or not 4" instead of 3.5" will be overkill.

Thoughts??

Stock quad tips are approx 3 x 9.5" so i think that the 4" should be fine, are you going round or ovals? if you don't mind me asking, are you getting custom made mufflers?

Round tips. No problem at all, I'm getting custom mufflers made.

We use 4" ones on the ATLP. They fit great. But make sure you get quality parts man.
