2012 TL Tech: Starting to see white spots on the nav screen along frequently traveled routes. Home street, primary street to work, etc. Spots were just pin sized at first, but now the largest ones are 2 or 3 mm in diameter. Any ideas? Car is under warranty.

 

are they white dots with outlines? They could be "breadcrumbs" or dots that are placed when you drive on roads/areas when you aren't on the map. Sometimes the navigation system places you off the road and "marks" where you have been. My area wasn't updated so I would have white dots in the shape of the roads which weren't mapped. You can turn this setting off in the navigation settings menu
