What does the roof antenna control?

What does the roof antenna control?
I HATE the shark fin style. I’m finna swap it out for a more streamline one. My main concerns are loosing GPS and AM/FM. Does it control those 2 things?

Seriously, If your car is black and it near 2013 - 39150-TK4-A01ZD (black version) I believe is the part number not really an expensive look and see, if it breaks. Double check my work looks like 43.60

I don’t use XM at all. So yes it’s worth the effort lol. The shark fins stick out too much in a bad way.
They always remind me of the fake ones that were all the craze 10yrears ago.
I just want one more streamline like the 3G ones.
