I purchased it with the latest $99.00 deal. I live in South Florida and do a lot of traveling. I have not noticed a difference. I would save the money unless there are new roads around you.

The only thing that would be useful for me in Los Angeles is if an updated NAV disk also included all of the potholes in the streets here. I know several people who have lost tires due to the third world condition of the streets--worse than some third world country. But then again the data would be outdated within the week.

This city is a perfect case in point how the bureaucrats are totally incompetent when it comes to spending your money. The arguably two most significant streets in the area (Wilshire Boulevard in the city and Ventura Boulevard in the Valley) are a total disgrace. These are the premier streets in terms of offices, shopping, etc. and they are a patchwork of potholes.
