Some folders in my flash drive seem to have an extra file for every track, so if there are ten tracks, it lists 20 files and every second one is 'unplayable'. I have tried opening the folders on a Mac (which I used to load the drive) and a PC, but I can't find any extra files. I thought iTunes might be adding cover art to the files and the car is identifying them as separate files, but I'm not sure.
Also, the USB function seems pretty primitive to me. The display is way too small for all the track information and navigating folders is hard to do. You can't have folders inside of folders to separate artists and albums and the folders are only numbered to 100 so then it loops again if you have more. Maybe the Nav version is better.

The 'unplayable' files are from the Mac. See:

I have car ADD
Yea, MACs will always leave that 2nd file.... its like -. or something
Thanks for the replies. I found a utility that will copy mp3s to the flash drive without the extra files. And it seems they only occur for files that have associated cover art.
