Is there anyway to turn off the annoying beep that reminds you that the car is running and you've walked away with the key in your pocket?

I do this all the time when I get out to check my mail (common mail boxes at the front of my development) and when I start my car in the morning and run back inside to get stuff.

I know I can leave the key in the cup holder, but the whole allure of the keyless start was never having to dig the key out of my pocket in the first place...

Been through all the config menus and didn't see anything, but I could have missed it...

there is no way around it, just dont close your door next time, it wont beep if the door is opened?

 

I tried lowering the volume on my settings and still too loud.

 

This beep is a bit loud - especially since it's just a reminder that the fob is in my pocket.
If im just getting out to shut our garage door or something quick, I'll just leave it in the car.

 

Leave the FOB in the cup holder when you get out. It's not the door, it's the range of the FOB from the ignition.
