TRICKY ELECTRICAL. ONLY Specific interior lights out. HELP!?
I cant find the fuse that would be responsible for these lights. I thought it would be the 7.5 AMP fuses Labeled INterior LIGHTS" per the Fuse diagrams in the owner's manual, but its not. I changed All three and they are still out. Here are my symptoms:
None of these work...
• Navigation Buttons Illuminations
• Footwell Blue LED lights Are out
• Overhead Tiny Blue LED lights (on garage opener)
• Shift Select Knob Lights Out
• Steering wheel Illumination
• Automatic Map Darkening When headlights Turn on
ANy Ideas on what could be happening here?

What were you installing/working on when those things went out? Also, have you checked the fuses in the engine compartment? If I remember correctly, there are some interior light fuses in there as well.
What's weird is fuse 6 under your passengers side dash covers exactly what your problem is. If you say you changed all of the fuses marked in the manual as "Interior Lights", and not just the one under the hood (wrong one), something else is wrong...
Can you use a voltmeter to check if there is any 12V power at the #6 fuse position ?
i would not even know how to do that.
i have also installed fuses that illuminate when they are blown. To help me figure it out.
there is a module under the hood I lys labeled as passenger fuse box. I’m thinking soemthing may neg wrong there
This all happened after I installed this usb charge via hard wire. I plugged into the Navtool unit.m which was drawing power from stereo unit.
so after I removed it. These weird electrical anomaly started. Especially when I plugged anything into the obd2 port. So o took everything out and it’s stock. The flashing lights and all havent happened but the aforementioned things aren’t working. So frustrating.

what is this diagram of? Because of this goes to my 2012 to shawd the. That means 1-6 is out. Which means it’s possibly the size box itself.
Ive installed stereos, changed oil brakes, batteries, do you think this is something fairly simple?
With basic tools and some lying in awkward positions not that hard to do. Check the PASSENGER SIDE FOOTWELL FUSE BOX. Sit in the passenger seat and it should be where your right heel hits the side of the car under the glovebox. Slide cover off and I'll bet fuse 6 is blown.
How did you hardwire the charging pad? If you pulled too much current through the fuse/line it'll pop. Navtool using the stereo power is a big no-no and I would try to see if you can get external power to it.
I think its the multi block fuses under the hood thats blown. Specifically the ones that have VSA, BATTERY, AC COMPRESSOR etc. SO after telling the tech the stupid mistake I made of working on wiring while car was in accessory mode and chatting with guys here its One of THREE things.
1. The Multiblock Fuses Under the hood are damaged due to my mistake. Because Several times, all dash lights would come on and all the modules that these fuses have relays for came on, in addition to the relay for auto dimming of nav screen the VSA and BATTERY and SEVERAL OTher lights on these came on. Also, there is "Passenger side fuse " in this set of relays and fuses. seems like a tell-tale sign its within these modules.
2. The passenger side fuse/MICU is damaged. COnsidering the issue was intermittent and eventually just select modules went out such as Gear shift illumination and stereo button illumination, yet other things are working perfectly. No red flags when they hooked it up to the ACura/Honda Main computer that checks all systems.
3. The Drivers Side Fuse Box, because I have one of those insurance discount OBD2 port things and When I plug it in the "replace battery relay comes on" but the charge on the battery is like 14.2V although this could apply to the underhood and passenger.
TURNS OUT IT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY MISTAKE. NOTHING AT ALL.
Thank to the guys at Stereo Base in Hayward, CA and T and R Lighting in Hayward I figured it out.
I went to stereo base (cause car audio places know more than Dealerships when it comes to wiring.
They narrowed it down to "Its nothing INSIDE the car, our testing points to the lights. BUt we don't know what".
From there I went to TandR Lighting and the guy INSTANTLY figured it out!
I pade the Aura Dealership 732 bux to replace the passenger MICU for NOTHING. UGH.
It was simply an aftermarket LED turn signal was drawing TOO MUCH power and damaged the socket and the connector. Not sure WHY Or HOW this affected interior lights?
ANYWAY...The dealership should have figured it out when the turn signal worked but the parking light didnt. That would have prompted me (if I were a professional) to check the socket.
Damned shame. Anyway...IT FIXED.
BE CAREFUL about what LED lights you put in your car, I went for the brightest...We see how the brightest worked.
