My T&W/Nav., expires 10/06; called XM to renew; agent quoted me $3.99/month, for BOTH! She then backtracked, when I went to pay; put me on hold, & told me she made a mistake; both would be $7.99/month. After speaking with her supervisor, & complaining, she gave me BOTH for the $3.99/month. Actually, it's $11.99/every 3 months/$48/year. Deal closed!

mine expires 10/29 and just got a bill for like $200 per year. Should I let it expire first then renew or call just before and try to deal? Is that for "XM Everything" plus Traffic AND Weather?

FYI: You need to seriously re-negotiate; $200 is absurd
My XM costs $77/year; my T&W, costs $48/year
Threaten to cancel, & they will re-negotiate
Wait till the last week of your contract, & pull the old squeeze play

Thanks. So I should be looking between $125 and $150 then if I get XM "Everything" plus traffic and weather. I assume that traffic and weather come as a package or can you get one or the other?

Just called today after 2 days of my subscription being expired and called for the $77 a year XM Radio and also told them about the Traffic and Weather. They said that theres no promotion for TRF & WTHR and the lowest they can do was $7.98 for both a month, after i told them that they offered me $3.99 a month for both which was $11.99/every 3 months/$48/year the lady was acting like she was looking for that promo and said YES, no problem (thanks to CPR thread)... I got all three (XM, Traffic & Weather) for $125 a year... Hope this works for the rest of you guys....

My XM expires tomorrow 10/29 so I called today and after a few minutes of being quoted some high numbers, I mentioned the deal I was looking for and the woman gave it to me with no problem. She said she was not allowed to offer it but if I asked for it she could do it. She kind of led me into asking for a special deal. I ended up with the $77 per year deal for "XM Everything" and the $48 per year deal for Traffic and Weather. $125 total paid up front. Thanks for the info and hopefully everyone else can do the same. Just let it get near the end of the trial and when you call, let the person talk about the deals for a while then mention maybe not renewing at all. After that bring up the special deal above and they should give it to you.

Please read the below thread before calling. I have been able to get the deal for the last three renewals on my 06 TL. The process for getting it is tried and true and will get you the most success. This is not a guaranteed deal.
