Is there no way to shut the b***h up....

WOW my 3G you could set NAVI for minimim promoting, I have tied every setting in the 4G and the naggy bitch just keeps blabering... make a right turn in 1/2 mile, make a right turn in a1/4 mile, stay right, make a right, my god I want to shoot her. I have to say the HFL and some of the NAV annoyances really detract from an otherwise wonderful ride. I noticed too that when you start they car if you hit the input knob to acknolwedge the OK for the warning too quick it just ignores you, same for HFL if I hit phone button then hit voice command button too quick it does not take it, seems there is some lags in the inputs.

yes, but still much shorter lag than my 04 Nav 'Ok' I remember though the w/ the 04 you could I thought tell the nav how much blabering to do - - more or less driving instructions

The 3G the lag was in actually getting the screen to prompt for the OK, the 4G prompts, but if you hit it right away it does not take. And yes my 3G was able to reduce the voice instructiosn considerably. The switch from the old NAV/HFL vendor was a big mistake IMO.

I turned the volume down quite a bit and that helped make her a little less annoying.

Sounds like someone's having a bad day, that's all. I find it quite helpful. Just turn down the nagging bitch, and should be okay.

I turned her completely off. She would tell me every time I entered my neighborhood "entering unverified area".

Every single time.

And she turned down the stereo every time she says something. I couldn't stand it. Some day if I am actually confused with the Navi directions that are displayed then i will turn her back on, but I wouldn't have the stereo up then anyways.

Oh snap, really? I haven't had that happen thank God. I got her turned off completely unless I use a Nav route. Too bad we can't do that with the significant other? :-)
