Replacing regular radio with nav

Is it possible to replace the regular factory radio with a factory nav radio. I know I would need to replace both the bottom and top parts. Just wondering if it would work. I have a 2012 TL

Not without losing the top screen completely, as well as ac controls and other functions. There are a couple threads on here explaining it much more thoroughly.
