Then when you try to unbolt it to clean it up, this happens
Luckily the car starts up... I guess I'll be taking this to Acura tomorrow, I'm hoping it's covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, but we'll see. I should have been checking my terminals for this.
Definitely has happened to me. Highly recommend cleaning them be careful when driving, I had an issue of the car turning off and on while driving due to bumps that knocked the terminal loose.
Quick update, when I tried to start my car this morning, it didn't. I zip tied the terminal, got the car to start up and drove like a grandma to Acura.
The good news is, it's covered under the bumper to bumper warranty, the bad news is the part is back ordered for a couple of weeks. The good news, they will be giving me a loaner TLX to drive in the meantime.
Glad Acura is taking care of this and they're not making me jump through any hoops. A+ for that. Check your terminals!
