Rear Deck Speaker QUESTION 2010
The rear tray has 2 17cm Speakers and a 20cm Subwoofer - they are all installed from the Top - the Subwoofer has a spacer underneath the Frame that mounts to the vehicle, be careful when trying to replace to "upgrade" the Bass... The rear deck is a little weak and you may have some buzz/rattle issues by changing the resonance / weight of the subwoofer that is currently in it. That is the purpose of the thick metal ring on the bottom of the subwoofer.
First remove the bottom rear seat by pulling the tabs on the release clips, after the bottom is out there will be for bolts at the bottom of the rear seat, remove them and lift the seat up and out it should come out with a little bit of effort. Beware the bottom of the rear seat has sharp edges and will scratch the paint off your door jams so get someone to help slide it out its a tight squeeze and its bulky.
No that the seat is out remove the left and right pillar covers by prying them toward you they should pop right out. Now just pop up the rear deck make sure you get all the plastic fastners one or two may fall out of the deck and stick in the rear of the car.
And thats that the rear speakers are 6 1/2 and the sub is a 8" Good luck.
