No Howard Stern on XM (CPO '09 Acura TL w/TEch)

Hello everyone,

I just bought a CPO '09 Acura TL w/Tech package. I got the 3 months free through XM radio but I don't have Howard Stern and a few other stations? channels 100 - 106 I believe.

Any idea why this is?

Yes, you have to get the premium package for that. Call them about it. I got hem to give me the free 3 months of premium but took a lot of talking to them to get it.

It's an upgrade not to have it if you ask me...people lose IQ points listening to that guy.

the only way to get it on xm is to pay for the extra stations which includes Howard. We have sirius radio in one car and the truck-yes even tho they merged they still are separate when it comes to billing and certain stations. I personally am not a fan of Howard but hubby has liked him for numerous years.

I had to too! I was spoiled when I had Sirius only in my truck. The down side is that he's only on 3 days a week now and takes more vacations

Save your money

Getting back on track...Besides the poor sound quality, XM CS is the worst in the business. Took three calls to get them to cancel my supscriptions(3) because they kept dumping the call when I refused to accept their "better" offers. They still call my wife weekly trying to "earn" our business.

You don't need Stern to be entertained, there are plenty of other shock jocks offending people for free on FM.

Robin, the drama-queen but she's part of Howard's success and there to stay.

True, Bubba, the-love-sponge is pretty funny but still not Howard nor any other imitator. Bob and Tom on FM is pretty funny but not available everywhere.

Ah yes, another one that has no clue.. You listen to the talking heads that are jealous of Howard? He's a rich ex-radio personality that made it on his own and hiot the big time.

You prefer sensorship, I guess?

What does your response have to do with Stern and Siruis XM?

Howard moved to satellite because of the fcc regulations they had on him on regular (terrestrial as he calls it) radio.

No kidding. It was THE FCC's focus that caused the move and the fines levied as well.. yeah.. he's had enough focus and he's free from the censorship now

Warning....

Guys, let's keep this conversation civil. Obviously, there are some strong "pro-Howard" people here. But if someone doesn't share that same opinion, it's OK.

Again....let cooler heads prevail.
