I'm interested, but perplexed. How do you interupt the NAV feed? What is required for setup (hardware and pricing)?

I'm ready!! Forward looking night vision!!

What is the cost?

Where is the interface? Behind the dash or in the trunk?

Any other info you can give us?

Hi

Final cost is still being determined we are trying to make it best price possible

Unit will connect behind radio as nav is built in to the radio

We are trying to make options available in the poll as separate features to keep cost low so that interface could be purchased only with specific option that you may want.

Thank You

Definitely interested as well...so definitely sounds like no HDMI interface? HDMI would be perfect for all new iphones and ipads. The HDMI would allow everything to mirror including games and such.

Our interface has Component Video Inputs , you can use this cable to mirror programs that allow it http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC...co=MTc5OTU4MTk

It's same quality as HDMI, and keep in mind you can only mirror apps that allow that feature

That is my point this digital AV adapter will mirror it all no matter what the app says:
http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC...co=MjEzNTM2MDM

This means all games and apps...Angry Birds, Cut the Rope, VLC Player, etc...all mirror

Even those its listed as iPad 2 only...the next gen iPhone will support this...also those with a jailbroken iPad or iPhone 4 can enable mirroring through a plist edit.

Hi

You have a valid point here about this device, but most of the people requested so that they can see movies or music video of their iPhone/iPad/iPod, many customers are happy they can use this cable http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC...co=MTc5OTU4MTk

Orrrr, you could have put an HDMI on there and hooked a $100 Apple TV box up to it, and been able to accomplish all of this wirelessly. Even moreso, if your phone allows tethering, the appletv could then become the pandora/netflix/streaming source just using the phone as the internet bridge. The AppleTV box is only 3 inches across diagonally and about 1/2 an inch thick - easily hidden, and has nothing but an IR receiver that would need to be exposed or have a redirector stuck to it.

I don't want wires hooked up and running all over the place if there is a wireless option. HDMI port much smaller and cleaner than component cables running everywhere; AND it xfers the audio.

problem with apple TV it runs of 110V and converter is built in, its a true home piece

as far as wiring goes, only thing you should see is a wire that connect to the bottom of your iPod device, rest of the wiring should be hidden

There 2 options, since unit is all plug and play mostly, any car stereo shop will be able to do an install

After group buy ends we will also be able to locate a suitable shop if you will still require one

Do you have any pictures of the UNIT / Modules / Connectors? Despite the lack of HDMI, I'm pretty interested with the opportunities it opens.
