BS Canada/US Pricing

I went to the Canadian Acura/Navteq site. http://www.navigation.com/is-bin/INT...gationMenu=YESThe disc is now available but its $249 CAD. The Dollar today is almost .99 cents on the USD. WTF. Why do we get so screwed in Canada by Honda/Acura.

End Rant

Has anyone purchased the US disc and sucessfully installed it?

Read from the start of this thread. People posted their experience with the purchase and install.

I did for my 2006 Nav. No problems at all. I assume the 2009 would be the same although I don't have first hand knowledge.

I've installed it without problems. BE sure to receive the activation code from Nacteq before installing it.

When I checked it today they are saying that they're selling it at a 20 percent discount, or $145.

And on top of that, the US site discounted the price 20%, and the dollar is currently at 99.74, so we're effectively paying 65%+ more...

I guess we can't order from the US site -- it keeps saying "The VIN you have entered is not correct. Please check your entry and try again"

Oh, and don't forget the $32.50 S/H on top of all that!

Is there any way to to see what updates are on the maps online before I pay for the upgrade? I know when I did the free update for my Garmin a few years ago I could look at what was included on the map before I did it.
