Is there any way to automatically mute the NAV while I am on a call? It is quite annoying for the NAV directions to come on while I am talking to someone on the phone. The Kenwood unit I have in other car does this by default - I am still able to see the directions on the screen but the lady mutes. I hope there is a way to do the same here too?!

 

I havent come across a setting that would do this. I am also inetersted in finding out.

 

Just turn the lady off all together. I'll turn her on if I'm in dire need to find something and lost. I just keep her off. Her voice STINKS!

 

lol....that's the whole point of 'her' - to help me when I am lost. So no, I don't want to turn her off all the time. What's the point of paying for all the tech and then just turning it off, esp when it is quite decent most of the time?!

I just don't want her to bother me when I am on a call. No one else came across this issue?!

 

Just turn her on when your in dire need. I put her on when I need. I still can punch in the directions and look at the scream, rather than having some whiny lady who you would love to take a paddle to. right?

i've just noticed that when i have her on, when i reach my destination i'm usually in a complete sh*t mood.
