Missing database version number

Hello all this is my first post as a new member in this forum since i just acquired a TL Tech SH-AWD 2009 and i must admit this is my third Acura car and i love it.

I'd like to order a DVD for upgrading my navigation system and i must provide some information before buying it like the VIN, the device id of the GPS and the database version but i got one problem when i go into the system/device information option in the gps there is nothing next to the database version so now i'm stuck since i need to provide something about that before buying the DVD.

Could someone help me on that one ?

Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem. Luckly my 09 TL was still under warranty. Left it at dealer, was told after 2 days that they don't know what to do with this and they will replace the whole Navi unit??? and this has to be ordered. Anyway, after almost 2 weeks, I had my TL back with database version. Then I ordered correct update

2 weeks....wow. I honestly would never see that being worth it for updated POI information.

I wouldn't do it either, but since you have a car under warranty, you want dealer to fix everything they can before the warranty ends, right ?
Besides, they gave me rental for that 2 weeks.
