K40 radar/jammer kit
Anyone have the k40 installed? If so can you please share pics on where the blue leds are located so I can have an idea. I've used the search feature and only found one post with no pics.

I have a K40 RL360 with 2 jammer heads on front and one on the back. I am a big fan of K40 over the competition. I have 2 blue LED's on the top of the gauge cluster pointing down. One is for the front and one for the rear. You cannot see them until they light up. Very stealth install. I also installed an on/off toggle switch to turn the system off during a Laser attack or if i'm on the phone and it needs to be muted.
My only negative about K40 is no red light cameras. They are popping up all over Florida where I live!

The K40 does come with a remote to mute. I think you are better off with a switch. This is much faster than locating the remote.
Under a laser attack, you should slow down to a safe speed, than turn off the system and let the Cop get a reading. If not, they could pull you over and hassle you for something else.
The GPS Unit on the RL360 is not great! It only allows you to mark spots where you know cops shoot laser, etc. you can mark red light camera locations with this. The competitors let you mark spots that have false alarms so they won't go off after you mark them. k40 does not do this.

How are they installing the jammer heads and how many? I personally would put 2 heads on the front because of the grill and size of the front. It's not a bad idea to install a rear jammer head while they are doing the install.
A fair price for a good install would be $1900 for the RL360 and EX2 Diffusers (Front only)
If you go rear I would say $2150.00 and you would need an RL360, EX and an EX2
You could always get just the EX2 and put one jammer on the front and one on the back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!

They would pretty much do the same setup as yours....two jammers up front(ex2) and one in back On license plate(ex) now I'm excited to see how this works for my own testing on LEO. And I'm assuming the range on this system is pretty good even though the radars are canceled behind the bumper.
