iPod (and USB) navigation problem

I’ve run into a serious deficiency in how my 2010 TL interfaces with an iPod (or USB drive). If I select from a list (of artists, song titles, albums, etc), when I next want to browse the list, it takes me back to the top. They way an iPod natively works, it instead brings me back to the position in the list where I made the previous selection – a much better approach and one I’m surprised not to see in my Acura. This is disappointingly dopey at best, and a real problem for navigating long lists. As it is, to get to the bottom of my list, I have to turn the knob about 100 times. Not great.
Can I get a reality check that others have run into this problem and does anyone have a workaround? Or should I just get used to playing items that beginning with an A or a B?

Its the same way for the usb drives as well. Im hoping that Acura will come out with a software update that will address this issue. Luckily I have only 400 songs right now lol.

I'd be happy to scroll through 400 songs, if I can just get my iPhone to stay connected via the dock connector with bluetooth on to receive calls. As for an Acura software update, hoping for it will do nothing. Please call Acura Headquarters in Hawthorne California, and tell them your issues.
