Smile iPod Title/artist/album etc Information

I have an 09 acura tl (w/tech) and was wondering how I can view what is playing on my IPOD on the navi screen? Is there a way to do this if the IPOD is connected via the AUX jack? What options do I have, if any? I figured when they said the car was IPOD ready, I thought that the music info would populate on the screen but go fig!

Any help would be great!

It should come up - did you push the "Audio" button? I can see all my song titles, and playlists, and my iPod is connected via that cable in the center console.

Hey, I've got a '12 TL Tech, using a current gen iPod classic via the USB. Frustrated that song length isn't displayed anywhere, grr. How often does Acura do software updates. (Please save your peals of laughter if they don't... )

Welcome... hmm, never wondered about the song length... but Acura does not issue a lot of software updates except for the Nav portion and the song search

You have an 09 TL as well?? So you just connected your IPOD via the usb port versus the AUX port and the information comes up on the screen?? Interesting. I must try that. Good looking out!!

Yup, I bought another OEM Apple iPod cord via eBay and leave my iPod Touch connected 24/7. Stays charged too. Plug & listen - really simple. You can view all your playlists too.
