Alright... I've had my TL (awd w/ tech) for 2 months now and I'm still confused about whether or not this works. There must be something that I'm missing.

Is there a way to show the song title on the center display while playing music through your ipod?
For xm radio and cds, pressing the "title" button will display different info on the song that's playing.
This function doesn't seem to be working for the ipod though.

 

When I plug in mine it always show the title/artist etc.

 

I've also been trying to figure this out, it shows the song title with XM and a USB disk with MP3's on it. But when I plug my iPod in it just says "iPod" on the center dash. I've tried to hit the "display" button (or whatever that button is) which lets you change between what it displayed, and that doesn't work either.

 

Mine displays track/artist info on the Nav screen, but not on the lower display with the clock. That section only shows "iPod". Haven't really paid too much attention though...

 

No, you're right. The navigation screen shows a complete iPod menu if you want.

You'll have to decide if you want the Audio menu to show, or if you want the maps screen or whatever.

The smaller tuner's screen just shows "iPod."
