iPhone 5 pairing with HFL

iPhone 5 pairing with HFL
Picked up my new iPhone last week and discovered while pairing that it automatically imports all my facebook contacts to the phone book. I have a 2012 TL Tec w Navi and thus far I have not been able to figure out a way to edit individual phone book entries directly in the HFL. I want to remove all those extra fb contacts that I don't need. I can't figure out if this is a problem with my iPhone which heavily integrates with fb or is it a problem with the HFL. On my 2010 TL tech, you could pair a phone w/o automatically importing the phone book. This doesn't seem to be the case with the new model. Has anyone had this problem? How can I pair my phone without syncing extraneous phone book entries?

Don't listen to Shurik, there's one in every thread, haters will be haters. So go back and un-sync the FB contacts on the iPhone, then import it again. I assume you got the iPhone 5 Velvet? Editing a single contact via HFL will not sync on the fly, you must import the contacts again. The TL integration is still a bit clumsy, but there's always a work around, like Sojue using Siri.
Velvet, put some info in your signature so we don't have to ask what you have? :-)

sojue, new to the forum & Acura but not to Apple. I've used a number of bluetooth speakers and all audio routes through them.
Unfortunately, on my '13 TL SH-AWD + Tech, everything except Siri routes via bluetooth to the HFL. How are you using Siri (with an iPhone 5) with HFL?
All help appreciated (except for suggestions to go Android )
Thanks!

I'm interested in this subject too. I have 2013 TL/Sh-AWD/Tech but have an iPhone 4S. Siri does seem to be disabled by the BT HFL system. HF Audio from the iPhone seems to be a problem too...mysterious disconnections mid-song, etc. Dealer has not been able to figure this out, so I'm connecting through USB now for music/books.
I hate to say it, but I had a loaner Toyota Camry SE which was flawless in the BT area(this was before the TL showed up). That said, the TL would drive circles around that car without breaking a sweat.

I finally figured this out guys. For '13 TL with Nav/Tech:
In phone setup (under Cellular phone menu after pressing the phone button), there is an auto transfer setting (phone to auto transfer to HFL or "Hands Free Link"). Turn this on. Any BT/Siri prompt from the phone will auto play through the speakers. Hope this helps. Also as an added bonus, when you dial from your phone - it actually "automatically transfers". Who would have thought it was this easy?
