I am a moron!!
I really don't like people knowing when I have a brain fart but I thought this forum needs a new thread and something to laugh about.
I got my TL on Friday so I was playing with all the gizmos obviously without reading the manual. Seriously who reads the manual first when they get a new car?? Like human habit I am so impatient that I just plain play with all the function and learn by trial and error.
So the first thing I like to do when I get a new car is obviously set the audio system to my sweet spot. So I set it and I was blown away by the sound.(yes that's how bad the audio system was in the Lexus) So the next day I am reading the manual and I am going thru the audio settings and guess what I see!!! I had no idea there was a setting for the center channel and pro-logic setting. Yes I was blown away without even knowing these setting because I assumed like other dd cars that there were only the bass, treble, fader and balance settings and since I thought those had to be it I didnt even think of scrolling down because I also thought that if there were more things to set, it would be on the same page. So imagine how I felt when I cranked up the center channel and turned the Pro-logic on!!! Its freaking awesome!!! So everybody have a beer on my internet dime while I bury my face between my legs!!

Anyways... Dahs, don't worry about it, I've read the manual twice and still don't know everything, it's a lot to retain, but I wouldn't of posted that oversight.

Yes I was like you too, an informed nerd(I like that better) but the older I get the less time I had because other things were just more important. Yesterday I could have read the manual again just to see if I missed anything but I ended up researching different wheels and I ended up calling different places to see if there were any Eibach springs for the AWD cars. Sadly they are in production right now but Eibach claims that they are available but it might take 6 weeks for their distributors to have them in stock.
