Hundreds of contacts appeared in my TL today?
I had over 900 contacts show up in my TL phone book today. They were not there yesterday. They are not in my iPhone anywhere? I only have about 20 in my iPhone. They are names of people that I have never heard of.
Where could these have come from?

Man this is really strange. No one else has been in my car. My car is brand new. The car has never been in the shop. No one other than my wife has driving the car. There are so many I cant imagine someone having 900 contacts. It happened while I was driving on the interstate. I'm an IT engineer and no stranger to wireless technologies. I have never seen anything like this. It looks like my TL was hacked?? Can I reset to empty?

I believe that if you sync your phone again, it will wipe out whatever is there and replace it with your phone's contents (i.e., no incremental sync). So, yes, that would get rid of the mystery contacts, although without knowing how they appeared in the first place.

Delete all of the phones connected to the car and re-pair yours

Mystery Solved!!!!! Man I feel like such an idiot. My daughter was using my laptop for home work the other night and her home work was to import a delimited text file into a new contact list. She didn't tell me and I didn't see it. I deleted the contact list and it also added it to recommended contacts. Delete that to and now all is back to normal. sorry and thanks for the responses.

Mystery Solved!!!!! Man I feel like such an idiot. My daughter was using my laptop for home work the other night and her home work was to import a delimited text file into a new contact list. She didn't tell me and I didn't see it. I deleted the contact list and it also added it to recommended contacts. Delete that to and now all is back to normal. sorry and thanks for the responses.
