HPF setting..

I have HAT Unity components running off of a JL XD500/3. Since the components have crossovers, do I still need to set the HPF on the amp running them? The sub channel is running a JL 10W3V2.

Thanks

No you wont need both running. If the amp has an adjustable filter then you could raise the cutoff level if you want.

I usually do it by ear, crank the radio to the loudest that i would normally listen to it at and adjust all the levels.

Thanks Gibby, just had it all installed at the Power Center on Thursday. I guess they don't bother adjusting anything after the install....I Just figured they would.
It's hard to adjust it all going back and forth to the trunk haha
