How do I repair/replace my front driverside turn signal connector?
Hey,
So I did a switch-back install a while ago and suddenly the driverside light went out. I looked at the connector and my resistor fell out after 3yrs and took the blue splice adaptor I had w/ it. Now the exposed wire is starting to rust. I covered the wire w/ liquid e-tape to stop future curosion but I want to replace that wire to prevent any future issues.
I can take off the bumper readily, but I'm having trouble finding out what the wire part number is, and how far back do I need to trace the wire to find where it connects to.
Can someone tell me what the part number is for the driver-side turn signal wire Is it 21, 22, or 23? Can I just get a new connector instead of the whole wire?

Thanks!

Hmm. Can't edit the post, but I'm thinking of just cutting off the existing adaptor and replacing it w/ https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Pre-W...ords=3157+plug
Of course using heat shrink wrap and waterproof filling like hot-glue or dielectric grease before sealing it w/ the heat shrink tubing.

The pig tail should include a length of wire but beware you have to purchase 10 of them for nearly $50 dollars.
I'd buy some generic wire and solder it to the old harness and connector. Wrap the connections up well and seal with heat shrink.
