How to clear Diagnostic Messages on Navigation?

I have a 2012 Acura TL. I replaced a tpms on my crack wheel and cleared the code on my diagnostic reader. But the tpms diagnostic error still show up on the navigation system? Does anyone know how to clear the message?

Thanks,

Well... should be cleared after driving a few miles. Assuming that TPMS unit haven't been damaged or was very close to rim's damage'd side. Try do disconnect negative battery connection to soft reseat the code...

The tpms error code already cleared. But it still store a history on the Diagnostic (messages) screen. It really bother me when I have to look at it everytime I drive the car.

Message stored in history, how come you see it every time you drive? if you see an envelope icon in the corner then mark message as "read", so it won't appear

I don't know how to do this on a 4G, but if you look at my post #2 in this thread, it tells you how to do it on a 3G (worked for our MDX too) and other members have mentioned it worked for other models.

Sorry. Guessing it is probably some sort of similar combination of buttons to be pushed to get you started.

Search for Honda HDS HIM on Ebay. It's Honda's diagnostics tool that will allow you to clear codes and a whole bunch of other things.

On my 2014 TL, the secret key combo is "Cancel" + "Map Guide" + "Dest Route" for 3-4 sec

The submenu to clear the diagnostic messages was not obvious to me. You go to:
Detail info --> XM(HIP) --> XM(HIP) Diag --> Diagnostic Info

This method works for the 2012 Tl (with nav) also. Just did it yesterday. Be careful, you can erase your whole hard drive from these screens. Thanks Sam!
