Honda Inspire/Accord Fog Lamp Question
Okay, so I've been trying to find a solution for my need of auxiliary lighting on my 04' TL. I didn't want to put a light bar on my car, because that would look hideous, also I have no idea where I would mount one. This lead me to search for the popular Honda Inspire/Accord fog light modification.
This might sound stupid, but I'm not that inclined when it comes to electrical work.
Most of the posts show wiring going directly to the positive battery terminal for a source of 12 volt power. Could I wire the foglights into the fuse panel (either under dash, or in the engine bay) rather than running wires to battery positive to power the lights? I want a clean install, but mostly I don't want fog lights to stay on when's the ignition is at Key off engine off.
I noticed that at this DIY that the fog lamps were wired in a way that they shut off when the removal of the key from the ignition. However, he is powering his fog lamps directly from battery positive.
