For those who have the new TL 09' technology pack, I'm curious as to how the Hardrive works? What type of media is copied to the HD, CD or DVD-A? Is is AIFF, WAV or MP3? Can you set the quality of MP3 if it is compressed audio? It would be a waste if it was automatic and set at low quality, I would never use it as compressed audio at low bit rates is atrocious.

The dealer also told me that any CD you put in there, automatically records to HD, is there a way to turn this feature off or at least delete songs? Thanks in advance.

 

Something tells me its mp3... although we won't be certain until someone takes the hard drive out and hooks it up to a computer...

You can also tell by the file size. One minute of AIFF/WAV at 44.1khz is approximately 10MB.
