Handsfree Addressbook - import pauses?

Hello all. I'm new here - first post!

This is my first Acura and I'm lovin it.

I've got an issue with the addressbook - I imported my contacts form my Blackberry Curve and all of the pauses I had programmed into my numbers were stripped out. I have lots of IVR stuff preprogrammed - conference lines, voice menu options, etc. They are all just stripped out so there's only the numbers, # and * left.

I noted that I can dial numbers with pauses manually with the interface then store them as presets, but then I don't get the ability to name them - it just stores the number as the name.

I noticed that the pauses on the display show as "_" when you enter them manually, so I added test # with underscores instead of pauses - no dice. They’re still stripped out.

Importing pauses worked on my previous cars with Bluetooth (2 Infinitis and a Sony aftermarket BT head unit). This is really inconvenient as there's no way to enter or speak additional numbers after the call connects.

Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks!

Congrats on the ride Sopolev, sorry to tell you that the new TL has let us all down on the phone system. It was much better in the 3G lines. Acura changed the system from Alpine to Pioneer, and I guess because of that, a bunch of stuff changed for the worse.

Call the Acura customer service line in your manual and express your thoughts!
