how do you update your gracenote?..first what is a gracenote? is it the radio software to make sure that it is up to date or it is used to update your media that is storeed so far on the HDD so that we get ablum info?

 

It's the CD database. When you rip a CD, you don't need to label the song.

 

now how to update.. i followed the steps add it to the cd and the flash drive and when i pop the disc in ,,,it says file not supported..whats next

The new update is online. Hopefully I can get rid of a few of my "No Name" entries this evening.

 

As usual, the update was a huge disappointment; out of a dozen or so new cds, only two were caught by the "update". It didn't recognize several albums which have been out for a while, including the latest by Frank Turner, Franz Ferdinand, John Legend, Sting, Lorde, BRMC, and a few others. All of these would be recognized almost instantly if I were to put them into the laptop and run WM Player.
