Galaxy S7 phone transfer to hands free

Whenever i pick up my phone and dial a number in the car with the phone already connected to the bluetooth. The call will not transfered to the car automatically. I have to toggle the bluetooth on the phone on and off after the call is connected for the car to pick it up.

Or if i am talking on the phone and get onto and start the car, it does not automatically transfer to the car. All of my other cars do both of these things automatically.

Is there a setting i am over looking?

I don't know what year your car is, but my 2006 TL operates the same way, and given bluetooth integration to cars was in its infancy back then, it doesn't surprise me if this is just a fact of life. Sorry.

You know a funny thing , though I have a car cam. I have to turn off Wifi to get the car phone system to function right. No clue why possibly Wifi calling feature (Advanced Calling Settings) or car cam doing something weird with current firmware (Going update it tomorrow) with the phone.

The same thing happens in my wife's '09 MDX. I have a feeling that's just the way it works.
