Displaying Clock on NAV Display Wallpaper

Folks,

I have a 2012 TL Tech FWD.
I am curious if there is a way to display a good looking analog or digital clock using the wallpaper feature on the nav display. It is frustrating to have such a small digital clock on the lower display that shows the temperature as well as other audio settings.

Thanks

The '11 and later Odyssey minivan displays a clock on the Nav system wallpaper. I would have thought the '12 TL refresh would have included that "upgrade" to the Acura Nav system, which is pretty much shared with Honda.

Or is that indeed the case, and the OP just wonders if there's an easy way to change the font and size...similar to Windows PC clock

You can ask the car via voice control for the time.

I like this idea. When I had my 05 TSX it had a separate line display near the top of the dashboard that displayed the clock, drivers/passenger temp setting, and audio info (the 1G RDX has this feature as well). I thought that this placement was useful and well thought out, esp since it's just above eye level.

I too am not fond of the mini digital clock on the 4G TL, as I have to crank my head down to see the clock.

A "wallpaper clock" would be a great idea.

My '02 TL-S nav had the wallpaper clock that would show if you didn't click ok on the legal disclaimer screen.

But that was the only clock the car had. Non nav had a small lcd clock.

OP, I'm not getting your point. The clock is already right in your face on the radio. Why would you want it on the NAV screen too.

People who hear me do that think that I'm an idiot, but if you're wearing polarised lenses in the sun the clock display completely disappears! :-)

I agree there is a clock on the audio/temperature dispay. But it is tiny. I was just hoping for a bigger and better looking stylized clock. There is real estate on the wallpaper display and was anxious to see if anyone has put it to a good use.

Thanks

I understand what you're saying about the polarized, however it happens to me only if I kind of turn my head sideways, if I look to the side with a straight head the screen/time doesn't fade.

Our 09 Odyssey puts a nice digital display with date on the Navi screen when the Navi isn't on.

It would be nice, or possibly a wallpaper that moves or something like they do on phones
