Data Link?

Has anyone managed to get the data link feature to work? I've tried with several phones that have paired via HFL but still cannot get a successful data link. Any insight?

This will only work with cell phones that you can pair to your computer for internet access (it's a similar task). The only time I've gotten this to work is with one of my old blackberry's on AT&T. It won't work for the iPhone until they enable tethering.

Data Link

I complained to Acura, Service people, & BlackBerry; (RIM), to no avail.
My 9700 TMobile Bold, supposedly works; it doesn't!
Service told me they spoke to the senior Acura electronic techs in California
Supposedly, during my next service, they have some answers; we'll see

It's supposed to allow you to make dealer service appointments from the car and it sends some diagnostic info back. Honestly, I bet if you actually made an appointment this way the dealership wouldn't know what to do since probably next to no one has made this work before.

I did get data tethering working on my phone with a laptop (T-Mobile), but I never got the car to successfully connect.

Thanks all for the input. I have two phones, a sony ericcson x1a and an iphone. The x1a would tether fine with my laptop but not with the car. And the iphone wont at all with either. I am curious to see if anyone has been successful.
