Can the HDD shuffle?

Can the HDD shuffle?
Does the shuffle feature across the entire HDD, I can only shuffle within album which is pretty useless...

Yes. After you select shuffle tracks in the audio menu, push up for "Music Search" then you will see at the very bottom of the screen ( V - shuffle all tracks ) push down to activate.
