In my 04 Acura, I was able to change the bluetooth handsfree call coming in from a ring to a voice saying “you have an incoming call”. In my new 09 TL, I am not able to locate this in the owners manual to change this. I can see the section in the Hands free without navigation that you can change the call notification...but can’t seem to find it with the nav system....and can't get it to work with the "without nav" instructions.

Is it possible to change this?

When I first got the car I heard the female voice say "incoming call" with my first call, so I turned off the voice reminders, and voice prompts, now it just rings and displays incoming call which I prefer, so are your prompt settings off?

The separate option to have voice or ring has been deleted from the TL.. and I'm not happy about it! If you want voice you have to listen to ALL the crazy voice prompts.. Unless I'm wrong.. PLEASE someone tell me I'm wrong, the ringing is abnoxious.

I liked the voice better than the ring too. On the 3G you even had the choice of 2 different voices

If I turn off the voice prompts and voice reminders....does it shut off the voice for navigation? I will try. Kind of like the voice for navigation so would like to keep it.

Yes, I liked that you could also choose between a male or female prompt...probably in there....not sure though

At this time, if you do shut off the voice prompts and reminders it shuts it down for everything. I don't mind the incoming call ring at all, so I guess I'm lucky.
