I just took delivery of a '09 TL. Upgraded from '06 TL.

I'm trying to find an answer to a situation with my HFL. I have a S4 paired to my HFL. How can I set my phone or HFL to automatically use HFL when I place a call from my phone when in the car?

On my old TL it would automatically connect to HFL when I would go through the contacts on my phone and place a call. Now I have to hit the Headset/Bluetooth button on my phone when I place the call in the '09 TL.

 

You can't do it. Why Acura did this is beyond me. The only way the you can dial and have HFL is dial from the upload contacts or speed dial. If you dial from the phone, you will then have to do a transfer to the car.

 

It works for me on my iPhone5? Is it just the S4 that you can't set the preference of HFL?
