Bluetooth Static
Bluetooth Static
Hi!
Hoping someone can help me here. I have a 2014 TL and back in February I had replaced the battery. This resulted in my radio code needing to be punched in, but my code wouldn't work so I had to take my car in to an Acura dealership where they gave me a different radio code, which did work.
Ever since, I've noticed when I listen to music through bluetooth, there is annoying static in the background. From time to time, I will disconnect and delete my phone from the system and sometimes this makes the static go away, but not always.
There is no static if I listen to the radio, or use an aux chord hooked up to my phone.
Does anyone know if a different radio code would solve my problem or do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks!

another word for static is interference. there is something interfering with the bluetooth signal.
Because the static isnt there with radio or aux cord, I can only assume that the bluetooth unit on either the phone or the car is failing. without taking lots of things apart and desoldering and soldering electrical components, one might not get rid of the static.
perhaps try with a different phone?
