Bluetooth and ipod usb connection Issues

So i paired my 2013 TL base model stereo (non tech package stereo) via bluetooth with my iphone 5s. Have it synced and will play music, control volume, but I preferred having it connected via the Ipod integration cable, b/c you can see song titles and better navigate through the iphone songs and playlists.

My problem is it cant be both connected to bluetooth and be connected to the ipod usb to play the music. For some reason the music is playing but there is no sound while in the Ipod usb mode. I disconnected the bluetooth and the sound starts working, but the thing is i want to have the handsfreecalling.

Does anyone know how to have the iphone 5s simulatenously be connected to bluetooth and the apple usb connection and have no issues playing music?

Not sure if anyone else had this problem, but its annoying as hell having to go back and forth.

Is there an option in your BT settings on the iphone to disable audio streaming and just enable handsfree calling to the connected BT device(the TL). I have that option with my GS4 to choose what the BT connection with the car does.
