Best aftermarket speakers/sub replacement for Tech TL
I've done a search here to see if people ranked replacement speakers/sub for the factory set. I have a 2010 Tech TL and I'm ready to replace some, if not all, the speakers and potentially sub but I am keeping the factory head unit and amplifier. I'm looking for advice for the best replacement speakers/sub for those that have already gone down this road with keeping the factory head unit/amp.

The Infinity speakers (Kappa or Reference line) are probably the best quality out there. I had good experiences on both my 3rd gen TL and my 7th gen accord. I haven't touched the current 4th gen TL since I'll trade it soon, probably.
Problem is you will need new wiring to get the full potential. Honda/Acura speaker wires are "cheap" to say the least. The amount of work involved to change the wires to some better quality from the head unit all around the car is just incredible. Takes lots of patience and some MacGyverisms - lol, especially on the door connectors. Also if you get into the trouble to get that far by taking so much of the panels etc apart, you might as well install some Dynamat on the doors, floor and trunk for even more road noise insulation. Not cheap but worth it 100%.
One thing to point out is that I had excellent experiences dealing with Crutchfield in the past. Some advice about wires here:

These guys don't just sell, they know their stuff.
Think how much $ you can spend and don't go cheap on the wires!
