Audio Upgrade to come..

This is what I plan on putting into my TL. After asking a lot of questions and reading tons of reviews I have decided on the following. I am keeping all rear speakers stock, as well as the HU.

Amp = JLAudio XD500/3
Sub = Hybrid Audio Technology Imagine I10SW (10")
Components = Hybrid Audio Technology Unity Series (6.5")

I am still somewhat debating the JLAudio 10W3V3 for a sub instead of the HAT

My Upgrade

I just had all four speakers replaced with Fosgate 6.5 T2 componets powered by Fosgate T400-4. Replaced factory sub with JL 12/W7 in ported box powered by JL 1000-1 and left the center channel to stock HU. I have both amps running thru AudioControl DQXS crossover/EQ. I will admit the W7 and 1000/1 is overkill but with the processor its very well managed. OH BTW dynamat the heck out of rear deck and trunk lid and floor if you want to reduce/eliminate rattles. I just picked up car last night.

Haha that's crazy man. That would certainly be overkill for me. You'd have to dynamat your entire car with all that lol. I've never used dynamat in any vehicle I've had a system. It seems to be way overpriced IMO.

There are a lot of other, much cheaper versions of dynamat to be found on ebay. Work just the same IMO.

Sounds like a great setup...you had to have gotten some guidance from IHC and niebur

Any versions you would recommend? I have no idea how much I would even need for the trunk, trunk lid, rear deck, and 2 front doors (I have seen car door kits actually). I'm sure those sections would about do it.

Can you post pics. Interested in seeing the trunk setup with the ported W7 and amps.

I'm still up in the air as to which sub to go with. Has anyone heard both Hybrid Audio's I10SW as well as JL's 10w3v3
