Mine actually syncs ip to HFL flawlessly, it's the iPod function that's not working for me. I have a flash drive with 4 guys of music but I wanted to be able to use the phone so I could charge at the same time.

Yo Murk, so your iPod section of the iPhone doesn't work at all via the dock connector in the TL, even with the iPhone bluetooth feature off on the iPhone?

I havent tried it with bluetooth off, but I dont see how that could make a difference. When I connect the phone to the TL it says something along the lines of No Song selected or something like that.

It makes a huge difference in my case. With the bluetooth off on the iPhone, everything is perfect, other than not getting calls via the HFL, which blows.

As for you, maybe try another USB cable? The flash drives structure/archive for your music are very simple drivers and very compatible, the iPhone is a little more complicated, especially with this OS. However hopefully this will fix everyone's issues:

Apple’s new operating system, IOS 4.1, goes live on Wednesday, and will be available as a free update for all iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G users. Owners of the second- and third-generation iPod touch devices will also be able to download the software for free. The update will be pre-installed on Apple’s newest iPod touch.

The update fixes a number of glitches found in IOS 4, including problems with the iPhone's proximity sensor, improvements to Bluetooth connections, and a fix that will help the new operating system run much faster on the iPhone 3G.

Vamos aver! (we'll see)

Very nice, I look forward to Wednesday. And I'll try connecting with Bluetooth off to see if that helps.

Thanks.

Upgraded my iPod Touch third-generation to iOS4.1. The battery life is noticeably shorter now. The good thing is that the forward and backward skip buttons work via bluetooth connection.

Upgraded to 4.1 and everything works great. Occasionally Ill have to disconnect and reconnect at start up for the ipod but it connects so fast it doesnt bother me. I love that I can change tracks via the steering wheel when listening to bluetooth audio.... even Pandora.

Is bluetooh audio quality on par with the wired USB audio quality? I was under the impression it was of less quality (but i have no idea why i'm under that impression haha).

It has significantly improved, however it still is inferior to the dock connection. Not to mention the painful lag. Obviously the best is still the DVD-audio disc, then trickle it down... Somewhere in this forum I posted a decibel test with my meter with all connections in the TL, I just can't find it?

Please note that quality is subjective to each one's ear. I've been doing audio recordings for 25 years so I tend to hear what most don't. Everyone one praises what Elliott Scheiner's brought to the TL sound system and he is very accomplished, but again it's subjective. Cheers.
