Anyone install Acura Remote Starter themselves

As the title says; Has anyone out there installed an Acura Remote Starter System on their TL? I have installed systems before but never an Acura oem. I have not been able to find references about people doing it themselves. My only concern would be if no instructions/diagrams are included. Another concern would be regarding any programming that may be necessary.

I did. spent 4 hours. w/o stock instruction it will be difficult a bit. And yes you'll need a code to program remote later.

Would you recommend this to be done by the dealer? We have to pay nearly $1000 for the kit and that doesn't include installation and taxes. Sucks to be Canadian when in this case.

Why pay $1000 ?

Didn't you mention that your salesman could get factory accessories at his employee discount which would be nearly 50% off ?
