Has anyone out there had any success/failures with Android OS-based phones on the 4G TL? I'd like to get a new phone (HTC Hero), but can't find much info out there on any issues (good or bad) with Android phone. Any techies out there with the answer???

 

I paired my HTC Hero with my 06 TL (it is a little tricky, after you set the TL to search for compatible devices you also have to set the Hero to do the same)

After pairing, some things work, others don't.

I can make an outgoing call no problem
I cannot accept an incoming call. The HFL shows/tells I have an incoming call but when I hit the answer button on the steering wheel, it drops the call and goes back to radio. (I get around this by answering my phone normally and then saying "transfer" to the HFL. Now people are hearing me say "transfer" all the time which is annoying.)

I use my Nexus One on my 10 TL with no issues at all.

 

I've been using my Spring Samsung Moment in my '06 TL for the past month with no issues.
