All I can say is WOW...

Just got delivery of "LOVE" by the Beatles in DVD-Audio and it is all that it promissed to be from others on this forum. I also got Toy Matinee but have not had a chance to try it since I could not force myself to pull out the LOVE disc... it kept getting better, better, better, better, na na na naa...

So DVD-A format does not allow Dolby but it certainly makes good use of all the speakers although I think it makes more use of the rear and front as aposed side to side that I was expecting... perhaps I do not have the proper sound setting...

Anyway, let me be yet another happy TL Techy to promote this album...

If anyone has any suggestions to getting even more effect from this system through better adjustments (hard to believe), by all means, chime in...

I do not believe I can copy this to the HDD and expect the same sound quality, is that correct?

Deaf but happyyyy....

Glad you liked LOVE, Mugz. Toy Maitnee is awesome too. Play the song, "The Last Plane Out" and turn it up loud. The arrangement and background vocals are amazing.

WOW is an understatement! I keep my controls all set to neutral; great surround, & dynamic range.
I'm a HUGE DVD/A proponent; have about 30-40 discs; nothing like them, in car stereo.
If you can find the, buy them; they're hard to come by, & expensive.
Most of mine were purchased several years ago, when bargains existed on EBay, & Amazon.
Some of the DTS/5.1 discs are close, but not as warm; more digital sounding
Anyway, when I bought LOVE, I didn't take it out for a month
When I saw the show, in 'Vegas, it blew me away
Enjoy!

Thanks

Thanks for your replies... yes, it certainly does enhance the driving experience and just has that ability to change your mood for the better.

CPR, by neutral I assume you mean setting controls to the center setting, I usualy crank the base up to 3/4, the trebble a bit higher, center the fade and front to back, and crank up the sub-woofer.

Too bad the dvd-a/dts formats were not continued but sounds like I need to keep a look-out for them...

Nice sharing with you...

CPR, I've seen the Las Vegas show twice. Now that's what I call true surround sound!

Ditto, Steven! Speakers in the seats, & amazing surround in the theater.
Hey, it's the Beatles; enough said

^^^ I 2nd that motion! I just got married 4 months ago-my new wife has never seen A Hard Day's Night. We watched that last night!

I just picked up the new DVD of Yellow Submarine in 5.1 surround sound too. Haven't watched it yet, but I'm getting ready to watch it soon.
