I have a 2009 Acura TL FWD w/Tech. Was able to pair 3.0 jailbroken 2G iPhone with my car. It works fine receiving calls, making calls, and playing music from my phone. I did experience a one time issue where it was unable to detect my phone but all other times it was fine.

so acuralink still won't be available to iphone even after AT&T enables tethering? ridiculous.. I wonder if Acura is even aware of this.

Thats crazy... Did you have to switch to the tethering plan before finding this out?

No iPhone as of this date exposes BT Serial ports, which is what the car is looking for. The "tethering" feature uses Bluetooth PAN or WiFi to share the internet, so that's no help.
