AcuraLink

I have had my car about 4 weeks. The AcuraLink worked for a few days and then stopped. I called Acura customer service and they said they have resent a signal and everything looks ok on their end. Said next step is to take to dealer. Any ideas on what may be wrong before I have to set up a service appointment?

thanks in advance!

Mine has NEVER worked, & the dealer is CLUELESS! I have a BB Bold 9700/TMobile/Full Internet. According to the website, it's totally compatible. Customer service, refers you to the dealer; dealer refers you to TMobile; TMobile refers you to RIM. No one wants to take responsibility, or really cares. In actuality, it's no big deal; just an annoyance.

Those aren't acuralink messages, those are just the standard messages you get when you 1st get the car. The acuralink is to be able to schedule appointments for maintenance from your car.

I don't even get the messages. My AcuraLink is grayed out completely.

If your Blackberry Bold 9700 is running on a GSM digital network, that may be causing you grief as I am experiencing with my switch from the B.B.Tour 9630 GDMA network. Depending on the network by adding the prefix #1 in front of a phone number it may work when exporting information.
