4G TL iPhone4 Pandora Bluetooth Observation - Question?

Anyone else use Pandora from their iPhone over the bluetooth audio?

I noticed the other day, not thinking about the audio source, that when I hit the skip button on the steering wheel - it actually worked! Did this several times over the course of an hour commute.

Got back in the car, let it train up (takes way too long IMO) and audio played, but no buttons.

Stopped app, started app, bluetooth on, bluetooth off - it didn't matter, it didn't work again. I started trying it every time I got in the car - sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't?

Curious if anyone else has noticed this and found a way to make it more consistent?

Since the 4.1 software update, my iPhone 3gs works with the steering wheel controls and Bluetooth 100% of the time. My only suggestion would be to perform a software update (if you haven't) or fully shutdown and restart the phone. Worse comes to worse, you can restore the phone to factory default and resync all your data/apps.

good luck.

works with Android 2.2 as well.

Although BT streaming sound quality isn't quite up to par for my ears.

Have the 4.1 Update - but still intermittent on the iPhone4. Yeah - even in HQ audio mode, Pandora doesn't sound as good as it does on headphones. Bass lacking especially.

Maybe I'll try re-pairing the two since more bluetooth COMM might not be automatically enabled with the original 4.0 pairing.

I've had similar issues with my Android 2.2 phone. Sometimes the skip buttons on the wheel/head unit work great for skipping MP3 tracks or Pandora songs, sometimes not. I haven't spent much time trying to figure out why...

Same problem with my 3g on 4.1. It seems restarting bluetooth for me always fixes the problem, but that is a huge pain. Hopefully itll be fixed in 4.2, but I dont hold my breath.
